Flea Market Style Magazine Social Media Manager + Content Creator
I began working with Flea Market Style to help them craft a vision for their social channels. Their Instagram channel had taken a back seat and needed attention. Working closely with the editor of the magazine, we began to construct a new visual identity. Flea Market Style has since reached over 45,000 followers.
By usage of relevant hashtags, a branded hashtag and a fresh look, in our first two months of working together, we saw a 47% increase in organic followers. In the first five months, Flea Market Style's Instagram account gained a 253% increase in organic followers.
Established a logo for social channels, based on the magazine's horizontal logo.
Created a color-coordinated and seasonal aesthetic that matched the magazine.
Created a branded hashtag, #myfleamarketstyle, to encourage followers to show their favorite flea market finds and to start a conversation. (Since establishing the #myfleamarketstyle hashtag, there have been over 20,000 uses of it.)
Began using an online tool to help curate each month's posts as well as to gain analytics.
